1. Why do people who claim unbelief ramble on as if they are so sure?
2. Why does everyone have doubts at one time, especially at a very early age?
3. Even without knowing the truth, why do we still feel there has to be a God?
4. Is it true that most don't want to believe, as an excuse to be disobedient?
Why do people who claim unbelief ramble on as if they are so sure?
For starters, the bible is loaded with so much information, stocked full of God's thoughts, and it is a product of his holy spirit. One has to appreciate that fact before one can begin to understand. Note, God's thoughts are much higher than our thoughts. Isiah 55:8,9 states, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,+
9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So my ways are higher than your ways. And my thoughts than your thoughts.+ Those who claim unbelief ramble on as if they are so sure, because they don't need to believe, because their lifestyle is out of harmony with truth, and they don't want to believe in someone who might punish them for the things that they practice. The law of Moses is enough to terrify most people.(Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) However, by claiming disbelief, they think they are safe! So they continue to do bad, without fear of punishment. (Ecclesiastes 8:11,12)
Why does everyone have doubts at one time, especially at a very early age?
Naturally, an infant or an adolescent child will have doubts, that is why Jehovah commanded us to start while our children are still very young to train them well. Ephesians 6: 1-4 states, Children, be obedient to your parents+
in union with the Lord, for this is righteous. 2 “Honor your father and your mother”+ is the first command with a promise: 3 “That it may go well with you* and you may remain a long time on the earth.” 4 And fathers, do not be irritating your children,+ but go on bringing them up in the discipline+ and admonition of Jehovah.+
